Wilco currently operates sixteen stores in Washington and Oregon.

Puyallup will be the company’s 17th retail location and the 5th store in Washington; joining Gig Harbor, Kelso, Vancouver, and Battle Ground.

Wilco is the largest farm and ranch owned agricultural supply cooperative in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to the sixteen stores, Wilco also offers bulk fuel and lubricants and operates seven Agronomy Centers who provide products and services to full-time farms.

The new Puyallup store will be located at 10409 E Canyon Rd., Puyallup, WA in the former Summit Grocery building just off Highway 512. The total store is 43,000 square feet with 22,000 dedicated to retail space, 5,000 square foot covered greenhouse, and dog grooming shop with the remainder dedicated to warehouse space with a full-service load out. Outside the warehouse is dedicated space for fencing, gates, soil, and equipment.

The sales floor features convenience True Value hardware, Weatherall and EasyCare paint, Purina feeds and livestock supplies, a lawn, and garden department, pet supplies, and pet food from brands like Blue Buffalo, Diamond, Canidae, and Taste of the Wild, and a full-service Pet Grooming shop.

The facility will also include a 5,000-square-foot space dedicated to clothing that focuses on workwear and footwear with brands like Carhartt, Danner, Levi, Wrangler, and Ariat.

The new store will provide over 30 new jobs to the community. These positions include full-time and part-time jobs in an array of areas including; Managers, Sales, Receiving, Groomers, Warehousers, and Cashiers.

The new Wilco store is scheduled to open by early spring with some construction and store preparation activities beginning over the next few months.
