If you just need a few gallons, Wilco does sell and deliver 2.5-gallon boxes. You can also purchase these from any of the 25 Wilco Farm Stores throughout Oregon, Washington and California.
For those who purchase a lot of DEF, we encourage you to call and talk with us about our bulk delivery programs. Wilco will provide a bulk DEF storage tote for your use; with an option to include a pump. The storage totes come in 275 or 330 gallon storage containers. Suitable storage bulk tanks allow us to deliver to your door at bulk prices.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a urea based fluid designed specifically for use in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems to reduce NOx emissions. Simply put, DEF is the solution to reduce truck / tractor emissions to meet the new EPA standards.
DEF is API certified and meets ISO22241 specifications. DEF is non-toxic, non-flammable, colorless, non-hazardous, and very easy to use. It is used in all diesel trucks and tractors that were manufactured in 2010 or later and have an SCR system.
The newer vehicles require DEF in order to operate.
It’s critical to read your owner’s manual which will give specific details for your tractor, truck or the diesel equipment you’re operating. That information will help you better understand how often you’ll need to refill DEF.
Generally speaking, DEF consumption is expected to be approximately 2% of fuel consumption, depending on vehicle operation, duty cycle, geography, load ratings, etc…
