Ground-breaking ceremony to take place on April 6 at new location
Mt. Angel, OR, March 29, 2023 – Wilco will begin construction on its 26th Wilco Farm Store location, with a ground-breaking ceremony taking place on April 6, at 4818 W 11th Avenue, Eugene, OR with representatives from Wilco’s farmer-owner board, management team and key partners within construction process and community. The new Eugene Farm Store is expected to add more than 30 jobs to the local community and will be built from the ground up on the west edge of Eugene, on Hwy 126 just west of Walmart.
“We’re excited about this location, which will complement the successful Springfield Wilco in the south valley and provides a more convenient store for customers in Eugene and west towards the coast,” said TJ Colson, Wilco’s President of Retail Stores. “The new store will provide the same products as the Springfield location plus additional items and services to the community, including bulk bark and soil, bulk propane, Stihl Power Equipment, an up-front covered drive-thru loadout for in-store or online purchases and full dog grooming stations including self-pet wash and dry options,” he added.
The Eugene Wilco will be the sixteenth location in Oregon, and is Wilco’s 26th location throughout Washington, Oregon and California. It will include all five signature departments they are famous for:
