As a farmer-owned cooperative, our customers include our owners, as well as our own team members. As a values-based organization, we treat as a priority the protection of our privacy and the protection and secure storage of all of our data. Information collected is for the purpose of providing you excellent customer service, and that service also includes treating the information with integrity and respect.
We strive to put in place security best practices, use third-party audits to validate online systems, and we do not sell or trade customer information to marketing companies or information brokers.
What personal information does Wilco collect and retain?
As it relates to customer charge accounts, we collect information such as names, addresses, social security numbers, financial transaction histories with us and others, such as account balances, fees, payment and credit histories.
Wilco Family Rewards retains basic contact information so you can view your purchase history at any time, allows easy returns, and we’re able to provide you with discounts and promotional offers and events.
How is information collected?
Information is collected through applications and forms you submit to us, through consumer reporting agencies, by telephone, in person, at the point of sale in stores, through the mail or through information provided by email or online.
Would we ever share your information?
We may share information with a third party or business associate who performs certain essential services for us; for example, names and addresses would be shared with the postal service to mail customer statements or promotional offers. As permitted or required by law, we insist these partners follow the same rules and confidentiality standards as Wilco. We may also disclose information as authorized by you, or as the law permits or requires.
How can I access my personal information at Wilco?
You have the right to review and receive a copy of your personal information. You have the right to request that we amend any personal information contained in your file that is not accurate or not current. You must detail the information at issue and provide supporting documents. Inquiries must be mailed to:
PO Box 258
Mt Angel, OR 97362
If we believe the information we have is correct, we do reserve the right of refusal and will provide reasons for the refusal. In cases of disagreement, we will provide your statement to any third party reviewing the information.
For all email correspondence, the bottom of each email contains a link to manage your preferences and information, as well as the ability to unsubscribe. Note that Wilco has multiple businesses so you are able to be part of some lists and not others; an example is to receive farm store promotions but not bulk fuels information.
