On Tuesday Oct. 21st Wilco Stores held its annual Ladies’ Night Event. Ladies’ Night is an event at Wilco’s 14 farm stores in which the female customers are invited to come in to the store, shop, visit and have a fun night out. There were spreads of refreshments and desert as well as different activities like photo booths, local singers, and even line dancing.
There were also lots of giveaways to go around. With Ariat as a featured vendor for the event, each location drew a winner for one free pair of Ariat jeans and one free pair of Ariat boots. Additionally, one lucky customer was drawn as an overall winner among all the locations for a $500 Ariat shopping spree. All women’s clothing, footwear and accessories were 20% off during the event from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Those at the event may have also received a box of chocolate covered Oregon hazelnuts as a thank you gift. This year Wilco decided to help raise funds for one worthy charity during its Ladies’ Night event. Wilco donated $2 for each transaction during the event to the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Oregon and SW Washington. The contribution totals $3,710.
“Ladies Night is a fun event. The store teams have a lot of fun decorating in pink and prepping the store. It was nice this year to support local agricultural with the Oregon Hazlenut giveaway. With the discounts, food, giveaways, drawings, and a nice donation to a good cause, this is an easy event to look forward to,” said Jake Wilson, Marketing & Communications Manager.
