Meet Wilco’s outstanding Agronomist, whose roots in agriculture run as deep as their passion for farming smart.
Brian Cruickshank, Senior Agronomist
Brian grew up in the Dayton area where he worked on the family farm. Brian graduated cum laude from Oregon State University, where he studied agriculture and fish and wildlife. He began working for Wilco in 2007. He continues to help his father and brother on the farm in his spare time. In his time with Wilco, he has enjoyed building relationships and providing field services for growers. Brian is looking forward to continuing his career with Wilco and providing his knowledge with growers.
Brian Wood, Senior Agronomist
Brian has been providing technical services in Christmas trees, vegetable, nursery and grass seed crops since 1977. He is licensed by the American Society of Agronomy as a Certified Crop Adviser. Brian has worked in the Harrisburg area since 1989 and has been actively involved with the professional organization Oregon Society of Weed Science.
Cody Duerst, Agronomist
Cody grew up on a grass seed farm in the Silverton area. He worked there in his spare time throughout school and during summers. After high school he attended Oregon State University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Crop and Soil Science with an emphasis in Crop Management. While in school he interned with a fertilizer company in the Willamette valley, and continued working there for a couple of years. Before starting with Wilco, Cody was an agronomist for a large diversified farm where he worked with many crops.
Dave Barth, Senior Agronomist
Dave was born and raised in Silverton- Mt. Angel area. After high school Dave went to OSU and graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor in Crop Science. Dave started his Agronomy career in 1992 at a local fertilizer cooperative. Dave joined the Wilco team in June of 2014 as Agronomist in Stayton. Dave has been married to his wife Sarah for 16 years and has two boys, Ryan and Nathen.
